Originally from Kentucky, Senior Pastor Leo and Donna were married in 1975, and shortly thereafter moved to Alaska. In November 1977, Leo came to know the Lord, and since that time he has dedicated his life to knowing and serving the Lord. In faith, Leo and Donna moved to Great Falls, Montana in 1981 to help start a church – Great Falls Christian Center. After nearly a decade of faithful service, God called the couple to Gardnerville, Nevada and Valley Christian Fellowship was birthed.
Leo has a BA degree in Ministry and was a professor for the Northern Nevada Bible Institute. He serves as a Chaplin for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department and Triad. He is also the President of the Carson Valley Christian Minister’s Association. Donna serves on the worship team and oversees women’s ministry and the prayer team.
Leo and Donna have four boys – one in heaven and three (Beau, Joel and Caleb) who live with their families here in Carson Valley. Additionally they have seven grandchildren who are a source of great joy to them.
